Program Objectives

The basic objective of the programme is to open a channel of admission for computing courses for students, who have done the plus-two and are interested in taking computing/IT as a career.

This program provides students with options to specialize in application software, system software or mobile applications.Also program prepares the youth to take up positions as system analysts, system engineers, software engineers, programmers and of course, versatile teachers in any area of computer applications.

Program Features

The feature of the BCA program of Bishop Speechly College is to produce high quality computer application users and developers. The program of study for Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) is over a period of six semesters (three academic years). The academic year begins in June of each year.

Program Eligibility

The eligibility for admission to BCA Degree Programme under the Mahatma Gandhi University is pass Plus Two or equivalent examinations in science stream with Mathematics/Computer Science as a compulsory subject.
