ARTS Society

Arts society of Bishop Speechly College for Advanced Studies provides an opportunity for the students to let their imagination run wild and provide them with the sight to see things differently. The motto of the Arts club is to inspire and provide our students a broader view of art and many forms like Painting, Pencil Drawing, Poster Designing, Clay modeling, Dance, Collage, Cartooning, etc. In addition, the students are encouraged to participate in their collegiate and other competition through Arts Club.

The Students of our college participated in several cultural, literacy and academic intercollegiate competition and won rich laurels for our college. The Arts club this provide a channel for exhibiting the varied talents of the students. The students overcome their stage fear and develop leadership qualities and show personality development. This will go a long way in honing their quality of self – reliance which ultimately equips them in life skill necessary for seeking high level employment opportunities

Mission

The Bishop Speechly College Art Club is committed to providing a creative environment for students where they can explore the arts in a supportive and encouraging setting amongst their peers. The Art Club will be a space free from negativity and will focus on the positive attributes that each student will contribute to the club

Objectives:

• Develop and demonstrate skills of the student community in effective speaking, writing, and performing on topics in the fine arts.
• To bring the latent talents of the students to limelight and provide them a platform to perform and hone their skills.
• To coordinate the Arts Festival and other common celebrations in campus.

The arts society aims to inspire and enable our students to actively learn and develop their talent and skills that will develop artistic expression.  Having an art society will help the students to be involved throughout the year in various activities.  An art club also allows you the opportunity and freedom to try new things with students.

Arts society of bishop speechly college  provide  our students a boarder view of art and many forms like Painting, Poster Designing, Clay Modeling, Collage, Cartooning, Pencil Drawing etc. And also concerned  with preparing and promoting students who have taste and potential for various art cultural performances. Students have unique ideas and powerful imaginations and need the space to work through their artistic expression on their own terms, without any objectives and boundaries. The college Arts festival is conducted each year with unique names. This year Arts festival was conducted as (“AARAVAM”.) on (23/03/2022) in order to ensure the maximum participation from every student and to inculcate in them a spirit of competition.
